2011 Hyundai Equus

The Equus is the latest push in Hyundai’s efforts to join the upper echelon of the auto world. Designed as an executive limo and aimed directly at the Lexus LS460 and Mercedes-Benz S-Class, it has the looks and content to take the fight to the stalwarts from Germany and Japan. The sedan is loaded with tech and luxury items, including a lane-departure warning system, electronic car suspension, smart cruise control, and a 17-speaker 608W Lexicon stereo. Prices are expected to start around $50K. That is, about $15K less than an LS 460 and a massive $31K less than an S550.

Hyundai launches new SUV Santa Fe, Priced at Rs. 20.95 - 22.95 Lakhs

Korean Auto giant Hyundai launched its world wide best seller luxury SUV "Santa Fe" in the Indian market on 14th October, 2010. Hyundai Santa Fe is a 7 seater 2.2litre (2199cc), four cylinder, DOHC (16Valve), CRDi engine.

Hyundai Santa Fe is launched in 2 variants, a two-wheel drive only (4×2) and the four-wheel-drive variant (4×4). Santa Fe comes with six-speed manual transmission with leather seats, climate control, cruise control, a decent audio-kit and large 18” alloy wheels.

Santa Fe packed with safety features by six-airbags and a fairly advanced ESP system. Hyundai claimed a mileage of 14.66 kpl and will mainly compete with Honda CRV, Chevrolet Catptiva, Mitsubishi Outlander, Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour, Nissan X-Trail and upcoming Skoda Yeti.

Hyundai is going to launch their new SUV "Santa Fe" in India this October to establish themselves in this segment after failed with Terracan and Tucson. Hyundai will import Santa Fe with powerful 2.2-litre diesel engine which packs in 150 bhp, with ESP, ABS and EBD.

Hyundai Santa Fe will compete with segment leader Honda CR-V, Chevrolet Captiva, Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavor.

Expected Price of Hyundai Sante Fe in India:

Rs. 23 to 26 Lakhs

Hyundai Launches Next Gen i10, New i10 priced at Rs. 3.48 - 5.9 Laks - New i10 Kappa2 Photos, Pics, Images

Hyundai India face lifted its successful entry level hatchback " i10" with major changes both in exterior and interior on 23rd, September, 2010. The new i10 got a new sporty front grill with new head lamps. The pricing of the new Hyundai i10 starts at Rs 3.48lakh and goes upto Rs 5.9lakh.

The ‘Next Gen i10’ will replace the existing i10 and will be available in two petrol engine variants of 1.1 litre with a mileage of 19.81 km per litre, and 1.2 litre with a fuel economy of 20.36 km per litre.
